⚠️ Important Safety Notice: Apeks XL4 / XL4+ / Ocea Regulator Recall

 

Apeks has announced a voluntary safety recall for certain XL4, XL4+, and Ocea Second Stage Regulators and Octopuses manufactured between April 2025 and April 2026.

Is Your Regulator Affected?

The recall applies to second stages with serial numbers:

250402212 – 260402893

The serial number is laser engraved on the body of the second stage regulator.

Why Is It Being Recalled?

A manufacturing issue with the second-stage spindle assembly could reduce airflow under certain demanding diving conditions. Although the issue is uncommon, Apeks is taking this precaution to ensure the highest level of diver safety.

What Should You Do?

If your regulator falls within the affected serial number range:

• Stop using it immediately.
• Bring it to Loves Park Scuba, and we will verify whether your regulator is affected.
• We will assist you with the manufacturer's free inspection and repair program.
