The SSI Deep Diving Specialty Course is designed to safely take you beyond 18 meters (60 ft) and train you to dive as deep as 40 meters (130 ft).

 What You Will Learn

Through a combination of academic sessions and open water dives, you will:

• Plan and safely conduct deep dives
• Understand and manage gas consumption at depth
• Use dive computers effectively for deep diving
• Recognize and respond to the challenges of deeper environments

You’ll gain the knowledge and confidence to fully enjoy deep diving while staying safe and in control.

• Minimum Age: 15 years
• Prerequisite: Open Water Diver certification
• Academic Sessions: 5
• Open Water Dives: 3
• Maximum Training Depth: 40 m / 130 ft
• Estimated Duration: 10–15 hours
